Frequently asked questions
I am an employer or a community organisation, and I am interested in gaining a license to enable my employees or clients to undertake the Verdella Program. How can I find out more?
Please reach out via our email address [email protected] and we will organise a time to meet with you to provide a demonstration of the program and answer any questions you may have.
How long does the program take?
The program can be undertaken in a timeframe that suits you. Because all the resources and materials are available online, you can take part in the program during a timeframe that works for you. That might mean completing the whole thing over a weekend, or a few evenings, or you may choose to take longer and complete it over weeks or even months. You are in control of how and when you complete the activities.
Is the program easily accessible?
The program is all web-based, so you will need connection to the internet. Signing up is easy – we will ask you for your name, email address and a couple of brief questions to begin with, and then you can sign in each time using your email address and the password you have created.
If English is not your first language, the program is also available in a range of other languages, including Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, Tagalog and Vietnamese. And we have also included video and audio resources to make the program as accessible as possible. We encourage participants to work with a support person if they would like to do so. This might be a friend or family member. We have created this video to guide support people to assist.
What data is collected when I join up?
We collect very basic information and it is stored securely through our learning management system. You can find out more by reading our and Learnworld’s data security policy.
What if I have trouble using the program?
We can provide support and guidance via our “How to videos” and email address at [email protected] or through the on the website. Simply send us a message outlining any issues and we will come back to you as soon as possible.
Do I have to complete the whole program?
No, you can choose to complete as much or as little of the program as you would like to. There may be modules and activities that are more suited to your specific situation, or you may wish to complete everyone. You are in control.
Can I re-do the program in the future if my situation changes? (what happens if the licence isn't renewed by the service?)
You can have access to the program whilst your employer or service has a license. That means you can revisit, refresh or re-do the program whenever you would like to during this time. If your employer or service ceases to hold a license, we will let you know so that you can save your activities and resources for future reference.
